Public involvement is an interactive process that allows stakeholders to offer important input on solutions that address the community’s concerns. The East Side Highway EA will be following the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Context Sensitive Solution (CSS) approach to public involvement. As part of the CSS process, interested stakeholders will have the opportunity to provide their input on the East Side Highway EA at public information meetings and by participating in Community or Focused Working Group (CWG or FWG) meetings.
