The fifth public meeting was held on September 5, 2007. The meeting began with a short presentation reviewing the progress to date and introducing the project purpose as drafted by the Project Study Group. The Project Study Group drafted the project purpose after careful consideration of preliminary project purpose points gathered at Public Meetings #3 & #4. The revised project purpose will be presented to the Project Study Group for approval. After the statement is approved, meetings will be held with the Citizens Advisory Group to develop alternates that meet the project purpose.
